# The Council

The SOS Council is an exclusive form of membership and unique discord role within the SOS ecosystem based on certain NFTs held.

**Requirements**: One [Otternaut profession](/space-otter-society-captains-log/ecosystem-and-utility/professions.md#otternauts) NFT **and** 5 additional SOS NFTs of any profession.

In addition to the utility of the NFTs already held, this role will provide the following bonuses, to be revealed in the near future:
